What's covered, what isn't, and what we need from you before work starts.

Warranty on fixes

Every fix comes with a one-month checking warranty. This does not cover physical or water damage, including internal screen damage that isn't visible from the outside. Phone accessories aren't covered under this warranty.

Diagnostics and estimates

If a device isn't in working condition when it arrives, we can't give an estimate until we've looked at it. After diagnosis we'll tell you the cost. If you decide not to go ahead, the diagnostic fee still applies:

  • $30 — cellphones
  • $40 — PCs and laptops

The estimate can change if we find further problems, and the timeline can move for reasons outside our control. We'll always tell you before continuing.

Your data

Please back up anything important before you hand the device over. Customers are responsible for their own data, and we can't be held responsible for data lost during a fix.

Passcodes

We need your passcode to test that the device actually works before and after the job. We treat your personal information with respect and we don't go anywhere on the device beyond what's needed to test it.

Board-level work

On critical motherboard repairs, the existing damage means there's a small but real risk that the board fails further during the work, which can result in a part failure or, rarely, a device that can't be brought back. We'll explain this before starting any board-level job.

Apple replacement parts

After a software update, Apple devices may show a “non-genuine part” notice for a replaced battery, screen, camera or charging port, and battery health may stop displaying. This is Apple's software behaviour, not a fault — the replacement part works as it should.

Collection

Please collect fixed devices within 30 days. See the Device Pickup Policy for the detail.
